Open to all Renaissance School of Medicine faculty practicing at an Affiliate site. The award recognizes faculty members for the outstanding support of medical students, guiding them in their academic and clinical work, but also helping them in defining and obtaining their professional goals. Submission Guidelines
Criteria that may be considered in selecting a nominee include the provision of sound advice with respect to the course of study, encouraging the best performance from students, generosity of time or other measures of effort at mentoring, advice, and other assistance regarding academic and clinical care, extraordinary efforts to advocate for students.
The award requires a letter of nomination by the faculty member's Department Chair or Division Chief, a letter of support by another faculty member, letters of support from three (3) students who have direct knowledge of the nominee's mentoring activities, and the nominee's CV.
All submissions must be completed electronically, preferably as a
SINGLE PDF file
. The file name should be the first initial last name of the nominee and the date of submissions (eg jdoe061708). If there are more than one set of files, please label them as above with an additional digit (eg jdoe061708-1, jdoe061708-2, etc). No packet shall be more than 20 pages including appendices.
Nominations will be accepted up to
July 31, 2024
. Awards will be presented at our Annual Faculty Awards Ceremony in Fall 2024.
